The job requires a competent Nurse to provide routine and complex care independently, address patient needs, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families. Competencies include utilizing the nursing process, ensuring patient throughput, managing unit operations, and practicing safe care. Technical competencies involve following clinical policies, handling medical equipment, processing medical orders, reading patient charts, and ensuring patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, and RN license. Additional certifications in Perinatal nursing and ACLS/NRP are preferred. The work schedule is per diem as needed.
