Administers ionizing irradiation to patients in accordance with prescriptions and instructions from department physicians. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in radiological technology preferred. Must be registered by ARRT in Radiation Therapy and hold applicable State Certification of Therapeutic Radiologic Technology. Basic Life Support certification preferred. Must have ARRT-Radiation Therapy and State Radiologic Tech licenses. Deliver prescribed radiation therapy, prepare equipment, observe patients for reactions, maintain records, provide clinical supervision, and perform other duties as assigned.
