The job requires a competent Nurse to provide routine and complex care independently, assess patient needs, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families. The Nurse must meet competency standards, utilize the nursing process, ensure patient safety, and comply with regulations. Technical competencies include clinical policies, health information documentation, medical equipment, medical order processing, patient chart reading, and patient safety. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, 1 year of related nursing experience, BLS certification, RN license, and various specialty certifications. The work schedule is 7AM – 7PM on a per diem basis.
