The Ultrasound Tech in the Radiology Ultrasound Department performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures for patients of all ages, working under general supervision to produce high-quality images. Requirements include completion of an accredited Sonography program, 2 years of clinical experience, ARDMS Certification, BLS Certification, and additional RDMS certification. Qualifications include knowledge of human anatomy, competence in ultrasound procedures, equipment operation skills, accountability, and a friendly demeanor.
